Description
Overseeing the millions of 22 rounds fired through the Ruger MK series in competition, training and fun, we’ve seen a few recuring themes. One of those is the inability to properly seat the magazine into the firearm. This results in frustration, timing and (rarely but not never) a safety issue as someone starts pointing a weapon around wondering what went wrong. We have a solution for that. These numbered baseplates help reliability by extending slightly beyond the handle. This slightly extra length allows the user to more securely insert the magazine.
The magazine are also numbered. At the earlier levels of your shooting career, this helps identify magazines that need service. That should be a long time out luckily. However, if you start to compete, you will eventually develop pre-shot routines. Part of that routine revolves around your magazines where you are going to want to use only certain magazines in a certain order. Most use numerically ordered but we’ve seen others only use even numbers, and myself, I like prime numbers. Send us an email if you want certain numbers on them! We can print both one and two digit numbers.
