How did this come to be?

I personally deer hunt with a Ruger Super Blackhawk and I use this sight. Up until now you had one pragmatic solution. You could paint the front blade which is fine as long as you had bright paint. Oddly, I didn’t have a gallon of neon paint so I sent our engineer to work. His product is a masterpiece. Not only is the green visible from both a tree stand and blind in Wisconsin’s last legal shooting light, but the graduated design makes holdover considerably easier. We actually started out using light tubes (fiber optics). Guess what? at low light in both a stand and blind, this front sight is brighter. The Wisconsin deer season is short and my time is precious, this provides the best option for me compared to paint and fiber optic solutions. If that were not the case, I’d use something else. 

I realize now a days, for the few people still handgun hunting, most people are using some form of optic, which is great. But they aren’t easy to install on the blued Super Blackhawk. With this product, we are offering an alternative.
