“Hi, I’m John, co-founder of Pragmatic Shooting. My journey to creating top-tier firearm accessories is rooted in a lifelong passion for shooting and a dedication to precision. As a veteran of the U.S. Army, I served as a unit armorer, gaining extensive training and hands-on experience with a wide range of weapons. This background instilled in me a deep understanding of firearm mechanics and the importance of reliable, high-performance equipment.
My experience extends beyond the military. I’m an active hunter, and I put our products to the ultimate test in the field. This year, I successfully harvested a deer using our own front sight on my .44 Magnum, proving its accuracy and durability in real-world conditions. I also have a history in bullseye competitions, further refining my focus on precision and performance.
